Lavender Wellbeing Experience: Thursday 25th July 2024

Join us for a holistic wellbeing experience of yoga, meditation and more, right here in the lavender. Unplug, unwind and breathe!

Our wellbeing experience was a sell-out last summer and we are delighted to be able to welcome back the brilliant @rosiejunderwood for another wonderful day of space, focus and calm. The lavender offers the perfect backdrop to your day as you relax and unwind amongst nature. See our booking page for full details.

Here at Lordington Lavender, we love that lavender can help to take care of both your mind and your body.

We are always proud to support a number of charities and wellbeing initiatives. This year, mindful of the increasing mental health struggles and stresses we all face, we are doing more than ever to bring the wonderful benefits of lavender to those who need it most. This year, in collaboration with The Mindful Movement Coach, we are offering free mindfulness workshops and coaching sessions for members of our charities. Our Open Week refreshment sales fund important donations for local good causes: this year these are My Sister’s House, Fordwater School and Chestnut Tree House.

Our products are made with only the highest quality essential oil, harvested direct from our fields, and are designed to help soothe, care and pamper.

A visit to our fields puts you in touch with nature, helping you to step back from the busy routine of life and reconnect with the tranquillity and energy of the world around you.

‘I go to nature to be soothed, healed and have my senses put in order.’

Why We Love Lavender

Lavender has long been lauded for the many benefits it brings for both physical and mental health. The essential oils from lavandula augustofolia have been applied in traditional medicine for centuries and can be used: to aid restful sleep, to soothe cuts, burns and bites, to reduce anxiety and stress, to ease headaches and abdominal bloating, to repel insects, to aid wound-healing, to soothe dry or irritated skin and to improve mood. Naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-fungal, gentle, soothing lavender has so much more to it than meets the eye. And let’s not forget that it looks and smells pretty good, too! From Ancient Egypt to the most modern aromatherapy spas today, lavender is a firm favourite for fragrance, culinary delight and luxurious relaxation. Let your mind and body unwind… and enjoy!
